 For over 50 years, Natural Factors, a privately owned Canadian Company,
has been manufacturing vitamins, supplements and herbs exclusively for the retail health food trade.
Natural Factors head office and major production facilities are located in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada,
and the U.S. Health Food trade is serviced from the distribution center in Everett, Washington.
The Factor's quality control department and laboratories are involved in every step of product development, and
production. This is a crucial part of ensuring that Natural Factor's customers receive only the purest, most effective
and reliable natural health products.
 All Natural Factors products undergo rigorous testing at all levels of production, in accordance with
Unites States Pharmacopeia (USP) guidelines. Testing procedures at Factor's laboratories are in strict accordance
with the government of Canada's Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
GMP - what it means to you
In 1982, Health Canada adopted a set of guidelines, found in the Food and Drug Act
of Canada, which stipulates how, and under what conditions, products in the health food industry must be developed
and manufactured to guarantee high quality and effectiveness. These guidelines define Good Manufacturing Practices
(GMP) for our industry and are considered among the highest standards for GMP in the world. At Natural Factors
we meet or exceed the GMP standards of the Canadian Government. Our commitment to meeting or exceeding GMP standards
is a major "factor" in earning and keeping our customers' trust.
