Flu Worry?
Influenza can be categorized into three different types - type A, B, and C. Type A is responsible for most widespread influenza epidemics, type B is associated with regional outbreaks, and type C is mild enough to be of no major concern.
The type of influenza the average person should worry about is type A, which is highly contagious, possibly reaching from 17-50 million cases a year, costing the United States economy an estimated $71-167 billion.
If you are someone who prefers the natural supplement method of building the immune system, we have a number of products that can help to make the flu season slip by unnoticed. Even if the flu vaccine were in abundance this year, there are reasons for people to protect themselves by building their immune system. The vaccine does not guarantee a flu-free season.
Once a person is exposed to the influenza virus it may take one to four days before symptoms occur. The symptoms usually come on suddenly - runny nose, coughing, sore throat, intense fever, chills, headache, and muscle aches. These can last from three days to three weeks, and in some cases depression may set in as a natural after-effect.
Common sense is one of the best flu barriers. A body needs adequate sleep, low stress levels, and a good diet high in fruits and vegetables. This may help to avoid missing days or weeks of work, and infecting others. Start by taking a good multivitamin/multimineral for the body to use on a daily basis, and help the absorption of other supplements. The immune system can be boosted by taking BioPLUS for prevention of disease, Probiotic-CSP Blend to give a positive internal flora, and Berry Boost to combat the free radicals. The antioxidant-rich vitamin C is especially good if taken at the recommended dosage, and can be increased according to your sense of wellness. All these products help potentiate the immune system along with the all-important vitamin D3.
Exercise is also important. Twenty to thirty minutes of exercise at least two or more times per week should benefit the immune system, along with drinking plenty of water (eight, eight-ounce glasses or more), and getting the required amount of sleep for your age group (adult recommendation - eight hours per night).
Try BioPLUS, Berry Boost, Vitamin C, Probiotic-CSP Blend, Vitamin D3.
